Dr Nisreen was born and raised in Iraq and lived through two different wars. She lived in a world where speaking up wasn't as easy and she understands the value of freedom of speech. This is why she uses her platform to empower, educate, and speak truth to power. Dr Nisreen was honoured with an MBE and also listed in BBC's top 100 women of 2020 for all her research and dedication during the pandemic.

We talk about her childhood, navigating negative comments on social media and the world she hopes to see in the future.
